Has anyone here actually raced a Hellcat?

With all the discussions about the super-Challenger, has anyone on here actually had an honest-to-God race against the Hellcat?

If so, how did you do?

I am going to drive a 6spd Challenger Hellcat in 2 weeks. I will give you my opinion for sure.

I drove a six speed HC myself - it was very impressive. I'm just wondering if anyone has ran up against one in a race?

On paper, the HC should take the race stock vs stock but it doesn't always end up as it seems it should be on paper.

There is a lot of activity on the SVT GT500 Forums about running Hellcats; thought we may have some here too.

I saw one do a 6.8 at the track but I dont know if it was stock. the tires were not.

I know for a fact a stock Hellcat 6pd vs a stock ZL1 would be a joke. The ZL1 stock will not have a chance.

Never actually raced one in the ZL1, but did see it run a 700whp Evo and the evo only beat it by about a car/car and a half.

Stock for stock, the HC will take any stock Camaro or Mustang in a straight line race given both drivers have the same skill. The only exception to that rule is the Mustang 13-14 GT500 which is also a beast.

Had one lined up with a good friend of mine yesterday after my first "late" oil change. My chariot of joy is now sleeping at the dealership for the next few days while they replace my rear-end :((( I'm sure he will stomp my butt into the ground but what are friends for? What better way to get your first loss out of the way and move on...

Just put down 740/700 with my JDP 850 package and E85. Here kitty kitty. ;)

I know I wouldn't want to race one. There was 2 of them at the Texas mile this past weekend, the auto ran 171 mph and the manual ran 169 mph.

I have yet to even see one! Once I do...game on.
