Gotta have T-tops.
What is the cost for getting a car done? May be cost prohibitive on such a low build.
Extremely custom parts.. and the labor... $$$$ It's not going to be cheap... |

Probably not in the car!! I don't know, where do the targa tops get stowed for the Vette and Porsches? youre right, probably in the garage. |
will this void my warrantee? lol
Smoke glass is the only way to go.
Read on the FB C5 profile that a member got word from Scott Seltmire "can't do T-Tops because of the design of the Camaro"...hu!? Looks to me like they are doing just that....????????
Is it weird that this turns me on? :happyanim:
Seriously, this is an awesome idea. I love t-tops! My 1980 Camaro had them. Subscribing! |
I will consider some carbon fiber T-tops.
i bet this will be very doable. the non-sunroof camaros have a brace beem/bar that runs along the center of the roof. that could function as the supports for the T-tops.
oh and i think they should be like the see through glass, kind of like the corvette roof panel.
ive been talking about this with other camaroers since i bought my car..."im waiting for someone to do T-Tops and see how it looks"...i agree tho...watching someone hacksaw my car to do this mod would probably make me sick to my stomach....poptops like the vettes would be too copycatish....our cars have a bit of every generation camaro in them...why not have the 4th gen T-Tops too!?
Can't wait to see how this turns out and how much it costs!!
My first car was an '89 Dodge Daytona with t-tops, they leaked like a son of a bitch but I still loved 'em!! lol |
