Trunk Size Help!

Hi,
New here and I知 hoping someone can help me. I知 going to try to rent a new Camaro when I go on vacation next month (also as a test drive!) and I知 trying to figure out if my two suitcases will fit.

I currently have a 2007 Mustang GT and both will fit with the rear seats folded down. The suitcases themselves are 29"h x 20"w x 12"d. Could anyone please give me any thoughts or guesses you might have as to if these will fit? Also, does anyone know the measurements of the opening between the trunk and the rear seats?

Thanks for any help,
Jason

My trunk is 34" Deep X 48" wide and 16" high. You should have no problem getting your two suitcases in the trunk with room to spare around the edges. for small stuff.

are you sure you're not trying to fit a body in the trunk? LOL

So far Avis and Budget have them for rent. Really $$$ though, I'm getting a quote of over $700 for a week but I don't care!

Also, Budget seems to be the LT V6 while Avis says it's the SS.

When I was searching for info I already saw the picture with the guy in the trunk so I already know you can fit a body!

check for the video by 'Number 3' where he puts two sets of golf clubs in the trunk

Bring some rope and tie it to the roof.

You would be suprised what has been transported on Fbody roof's in the past. I have had 4 full size innertubes with lot of rope back in the day.

I have taken two trips in Camaros. First to California in Number 3. Full lugage and 2 sets of golf clubs in the trunk. Soft side works best.

Took Thor to Florida over Easter. Same thing.

No rear seat fold down required. Plenty of room IN the trunk, just a smallish opening.

fold the seat down:)

If it fit in the mustang, it will fit in the Camaro. Same type of opening to deal with, but the trunk seems larger in the Camaro. There is a video on here somewhere of 2 oversized golf bags getting stuffed into the trunk with the seats up. I wouldn't have thought that would have been an easy fit prior to seeing the video.
