Are you talking about the arm rest? I didn't have to remove that when I did mine and I didn't want to scratch anything either, but it is understandable and another precautionary measure if you did so.

Are you trying to steam audion from you phone or use hands free calling? You can stream audio using the PDIM but as for hands free calling you would need to find a used bluetooth VIU

ScoobyDoo 06-16-2011 07:12 AM

viu? I just wanna leave my ipohn plugged in and be able to talk

Ok for that you would need to get a bluetooth VIU. GM wiull only sell them on an exchange bassis so since you dont have one to return we can not get one. Most are able to find them on ebay

under certain circumstances yes but not always. If yours had it from the factory and are still under warranty almost definatly yes but not everyone falls under it

Huh? There are only two modules that have ever been put in the Camaro:

DA and DB.

Software is almost irrelevant- your dealer can update the software for you.

The unit I bought a couple months back from these guys was DB.

It came with version DB software (which is currently up to DD).

if you order the add on it comes with the da/dx module. The Db module is available if you are just upgrading one of the older C program models

Very true unless you have one of the old C modules which can not be updated further and a new module must be purchased first. The c module are the ones that had all the problems

so i can get the software upgrade to the newest version with the da/dx module?

Agreed. I misspoke. There are only two upgraded modules that have ever been put in the Camaro since it originally came out with the "C" series module installed at the start of my2010 production.
