Here is my first mod:

I got married in May, and handed my car over to Pete at Showstopper to work his magic while I was sunning in Mexico! Here is some of his handy work. He installed the MPD1 Spoiler and the Heritage grille, as well as painting the 45th anniversary inspired RS stripes.

And here is my latest mod :)

I have several things planned over the winter, I will have some mockups of these mods to post soon !!

Installed a Ported Throttle Body from Mike Norris motorsports. This is my first engine mod, I wanted to install this first before everything else, to see if it indeed made a difference. It did indeed make a difference in the dead spot, the v6's have. Also improved throttle response. Next up is a CAI as soon as I decide which one I want.

Black Bezels and Tinted Tails via Dark SS Thanks, Dan! Your car lives on!

I was working on a center cap project for my New Ruff Racing wheels, I took the caps apart and I painted the center disk black. But before I put them back together I stumbled upon a place that makes replacement center disks for center caps. I ordered two sets, one set with Chevy Flags and the other set with Silver Chevy emblems. I just cleaned up the center caps and installed the new disks and they look great. Hopefully they hold up, if not I have a second set or the original disks I painted black. Hopefully have the wheels on this weekend.

Solo Cat Back exhaust went on last weekend. I have to admit initially I did not like the sound, but when I got my CAI intake the next week and installed it, it sounded a million times better !!!

Pics of the CAI cold air intake install: This intake made all the difference in the way the SOLO cat back exhaust sounds! I got the powder coated intake from JDP Motorsports for $50 cheaper than anywhere else. Also here you can see my Vmax Ported throttle body.

Awesome work on your car, man! Looks great. Love the custom paint job and your other mods!! Wish I'd gotten the black powdercoated CAI like you. Oh well....maybe that gives me an excuse to make mine white instead, haha. Keep up the good work.

KidKilowatt 04-06-2012 08:19 PM

Thanks !

Sleez 04-06-2012 08:25 PM

could you let me know who did your center caps.

KidKilowatt 04-06-2012 08:46 PM

I got them from here http://www.makingitdigital.net/store...=Center-Cap-GM They are slightly flexible, I believe they are designed to go over your existing center caps, but since I already had mine in 2 pieces, I used them in place of my center cap disks. So far held up for a few hundred miles, a few rain storms and today a power car wash.

Sleez 04-06-2012 08:59 PM

thanks
