Random awkwardness by random people
 

Hey fellas this is my first post and I'm happy there is people out there as passionate as me about te camaro.im 20 years old and I bought my own 2012 2lS. Before that I had a civic lol. HUGE upgrade. Before when I had the civic it was just another car. Now that I have a camaro and I bought it, I have this feeling of absolute pride in my car. I don't even know how to explain it. I was never a car guy and now my car is my baby.
Lol my question is do you guys ever get random people taking pictures? My car is still fully stock(but it's still a beautiful car)(especially in manual mode). The other night I was at the drive through and i had people taking pictures of my car lol. It was satisfying, prideful, yet very awkward because I know it is pure stock(shows how the camaro stock is admired by everyday people). You guys with the modded SS must feel like celebrities lol

I had pictures taken of my V6 when I had one, but none of my SS yet that I know of.

Yes, welcome. I have had, on several occasions, random people walk up to the car, whip out their camera-phone and snap a few pictures. Kind of cool until they begin to touch the car, I then push the panic button and watch them flee.

Welcome! I'm 20 also, and that is exactly how I felt when I bought mine :D And I don't think anyone has taken a pic of mine yet, but I may be wrong.

I was approached at the gas station last weekend by an elderly woman, 70 ish about my anniversary SS. I have full tattoo sleeves and was wearing a short sleeve shirt. So I thought it odd when she walked up and asked if it was this years model. I replied yes and she stated it was " gorgeous " lol.

Ha Ha! I have had many senior citizens compliment my car lol, it kinda takes you by surprise, they too have good taste in car design

I had a group of elderly men walking into an amusement park with their families and one of the men saw me driving slowly by the front entrance. He stopped everyone in his party to make sure they saw my car.

When i first got my car I showed it to my grandmother and said its a nice car huh and she said "no, its beautiful" and that was all the confirmation I needed :)

I've had a lot of elderly women complimenting my car too it caught me off guard. But not just elderly both sexes all ages. But chicks really seem to dig it. It's crazy, dunno if it's the color or what. But I've seen people taking pics. Just yesterday I was at a drive thru and my dog likes to stick his head through the moonroof and the people in front on me had their hands out the windows taking pics with their phones.

I just pulled into a parking lot and I noticed a guy and his
daughter walk in front of my car to get to his which happened
to be behind mine. When I got inside the facility, I turned to
check on my ride like I always do, and saw him taking pictures.
I thought it was cool and weird at the same time. He actually
waited until I got inside to do this. I guess he thought it might be
weird to ask me if he could take pictures. I would be all about it.
"Go for it guy, take as many as you want."

^i saw a synergy green SS last week and took a pic. Couldn't help it lol.
