New wheels.

I just got my new wheels in and on the front ones after
having them installed I notice the rollers or what ever they are on the brake calibers are almost touching the wheel. Only a hair between :help:

So what's the problem?

Almost doesn't count... except for horse shoes, hand grenades, and B.O.!

Giblet2011SS 11-15-2010 12:53 PM

It was just worrying me a little I don t even know what the rollers are for

You can always replace the pads, if it makes you feel better.

As long as the wheels spin freely if you spin them by hand, you should have no problem. I have had cars with rims only a couple of mm from the brake caliper. So no worries really. Take it round the block, gradually increasing speed, until you are confident everything is OK.

If you want to insert an image do the following:

Copy the image URL from whatever site you're hosting. This will have http:// usually in the beginning and a .JPG or whatever extension at the end. Wherever it is you want to place the image, on these (on most other forums) press the icon that looks like a mountain with a moon. On here it is the 14th icon from the left on the second row of icons - guessing this is by default. Press the button, paste the url, viola.
