New wheels.
I just got my new wheels in and on the front ones after
having them installed I notice the rollers or what ever they are on the brake calibers are almost touching the wheel. Only a hair between :help: |
So what's the problem?
Almost doesn't count... except for horse shoes, hand grenades, and B.O.! |
It was just worrying me a little I don t even know what the rollers are for
|
pics please

You can always replace the pads, if it makes you feel better.
|
As long as the wheels spin freely if you spin them by hand, you should have no problem. I have had cars with rims only a couple of mm from the brake caliper. So no worries really. Take it round the block, gradually increasing speed, until you are confident everything is OK.

WTF is a roller?

Talking about the counter weights on the brake pads

Copy the image URL from whatever site you're hosting. This will have http:// usually in the beginning and a .JPG or whatever extension at the end. Wherever it is you want to place the image, on these (on most other forums) press the icon that looks like a mountain with a moon. On here it is the 14th icon from the left on the second row of icons - guessing this is by default. Press the button, paste the url, viola. |
