Anyone lower a 1LE?

Interested how the 1LE struts handle lowering springs. Could be a lower cost solution for my 2014 SS. The "seat of the pants" feel on the SS tells me the struts don't have a lot of margin left for stiffer springs?

I'm thinking of lowering mine also.
I read a post that said the 1LE shocks were more suitable to be lowered.
I would like to get more opinions my self though.

Pete from pedders has mentioned their lowering springs in the rear would be an improvement since the rear is somewhat high with a stock rake.

I'd be wary of playing with the spring rates too much unless you really knew what you are doing.

Mine is lowered on Eibach springs. Nothing to compare to though as I bought it like that. Seems fine to me though. Ride quality is firm but I went from a stock height 1LT on 18" tires to a 1LE lowered on low pro Goodyears.
