The reason I went with the cam I bought was because one of the fastest G8s in the country had this cam and a procharger. It also sounded awesome lol.

Oh. There is a local guy to me that had a procharged g8 that ran 10.80s. Thought u were refering to him

this cam kills CRAPLOADS of low end and increases power up top, would be a VERY bad choice with your Vortech...

Gt9 is great for a positive displacement blower. I got it verbatim from LPE not to use that cam with a centrifugal. In a nutshell it has to do with the boost curve of pd vs centri. Much better cam choices out there for a centri.

Ive had the GT9 with my YSi for a couple of years. Cant fault it. Car goes as fast as it ever has, and idles super smooth.

Pretty sure ADM did a couple of cars a while back with dyno's of over 1khp on the GT9
