You know i have a 64 1/2 mustang that sure enough it isnt a street car that has run IHRA, NHRA, and NMRA events that is formidable. Sure enough its a ford and im on the Camaro web site. I bought one of these SS camaros for my wife. Im a ford man but the camaro was just a really great car all around this year and won my wife as well as me over. You dont see me on here trying to bash Cheverolet owners. And you dont see me on your Dodge site trying to stir up trouble either. These statements are immature and shows your bad sportsmanship for the sport of drag racing. Someone who is faster knows there fast, they dont have to pick on someone who is slower. Your car runs good sir but you should be ashamed at yourself for the way you carry yourself. Why make such a comment at all. A good sport would have just typed in even if he did beat some stock or slightly modded Camaros and said that those were great passes and that you had a great time at the event. If this is how you act towards great people when you win, i would hate to see you when you lose. I have seen many men get out and throw there helmet down after a race in my time. But i never went over to gloat about it. Course most people only tell you about a win, they never tell them about how they got spanked. This is drag racing when you go to the drag strip you find out how fast your not. Its as simple as that. Now you can come back with a comment thats smart ass. Or we can just leave it as well said. Because everything i just said is the truth. You have a good running Challenger but try to be the better man whether you win or get spanked.

I'm not the guy who throws his helment on the ground when he lose's as a matter of fact anger is a luxury I can't afford.
nobdoys gloating over here either just posting up honest times, I am very grateful that the Carmaro guys invited us down and I had a great time hanging out all weekend with all the bowtie boys, which I already expressed.
I'm the guy who went down smiling and huging the one who whiped my but.

Glad you cleared that up.

Enjoy your ride!

330 ... 4.531
1/8 .... 7.074
MPH ... 96.59
1000 ... 9.272
1/4 .... 11.140
MPH ... 120.44

But I ran the car again at night and my best time was 11.086 and my best reaction time was 0.054 and the fastest MPH of the day was 120.87

My husband and I were extremely happy with how the car performed. We never expected the car (with me driving it) to make it into the semi-finals. I did not win any money like one of the other guys, but I won a bunch of great new friends!

Thanks to all of you guys for your help and all the great tips that help make this a great experience for me! And Congratulations to FastLane and Midgard on their two beautiful fast cars. They are awesome! Go Panama!

We were there and watched you make your final runs down the track, and it was an impressive sight.

I am surprised to hear that you did not win with the times you were putting down.:iono:

Best of luck to break into the 10's next time you go to the track.

Also a newbie to quarter mile and auto cross...

Bone stock I ran a 13.5 at 109. 60' consistantly 2.1-2.2..but never completely hooked w/o some spin (rookie!). Most of my runs were in the afternoon.

I added Cold Air Intake CAI that night and made one run before going home (with car loaded up); and ended up with at 13.2 @111mph.

I can't wait to improve my technique and break into the 12's.

Oh, don't know where this fell out, but also ran a 38.4 on the autocross with bone stock.

All in all, a great time, a great crowd...and a new addiction!!! who knew I could get all of that out of a daily driver!!!

Had a blast at CF5. At the drag strip, had several 12.20s ETs at 113 MPH, with a best of 12.12 at 113.9MPH.

The Pedders suspension really helped with 60' in the 1.7s, with one a 1.68.

Thanks to Nickey Chicago, Pedders, BMF, FLP and Comet.

Slap me if I am wrong but this Camaro meet was in no way intended for the atmosphere that your post seems to air! If I am wrong and your intent was to poke fun I cetrainly apologize. If I am right then I along with the whole forum wish for you to take it elsewhere. :respekt:
