How many miles should be on a new Camaro, when it rolls off the truck?

What reason does a dealer have to "Quality Control" a vehicle to add 10 miles to a new car?

Reason I ask, I dont wany any test drives, joy rides, etc. on my new ride.

- they fill her up with gas
- probally the guy who preps the car test drives it for any problems does all recalls and then details and installs plates
I thank 5-10 would be the amount normally?

mine was delivered with 26 miles on it.

has anyone got there when it was on the truck and taken it home the same day how long did you wait and also i remeber my dad saying this one time he bought a car the front end was hanging off the truck had let the car slip off and they said they were just gonna redo it and he can pick it up the next day for the same price lol anyone bug out about their baby coming off the truck.

If it has stripes from the factory, I believe that adds an 8 or 16 mile drive to it up in Canada. I could be wrong though.

My Chantilly had 4 miles on the clock when she came to me, straight off the truck.

Mine did get factory stripes and it had 4 miles on it when I picked it up.

Mine had 9 when I picked it up

Rogue had 4 coming off the truck, 7 when I picked her up due to tinting, bath ect.

Part will depend on how big your dealer property is but if it more than 12 - 15 I'd ask.

The other thing you might want to do is when you get the call ask how many miles are on the car as it comes off the truck. That way you know how many were burned before the dealership and after.

We are told to drive them a min. of 5 miles on the PDI test drive. So depending on the mileage it has when it rolls off the truck it will have anywhere from 5-15 if it came in as a sold unit. If you bought it off the lot then it could have alot more depending on test drives or want ever other reason it might have been driven. :chevy:

if you ordered the racing stripes, you will see at least 20 miles on the odometer when u pick it up. Stripes are installed at a different facility. Car has to be driven there and back to the factory. Mine had 4 miles when I picked it up. Went from the truck>PDI> gas station>dealer showroom.

mine had 4 off the truck but they put 2 on it to go fill it up

My son's had 11 and mine had 17
