Swap Interior Door/Dash Panels (45th to 1LE)

I have a Summit White 1LE--which of course comes with the silver door/dash panels--it looks okay with the dark gray leather seats--however--checked out the interior of a friends 45th Edition Camaro yesterday and those have white door/dash panels--I think swapping mine out to match Summit White exterior would look AWESOME--does anyone know if these door/dash panels are universal fit and I could swap them out--if so has anyone done it and how hard a project is it (I.e. do you have to remove dash)--finally I am assuming I could buy these white door/dash panels through GMDIRECT.COM--thank you in advance for advice--have a great day!!!

I have the GM interior panel kit with the 45th logo on just the strip on the passenger side. There is a Summit white interior panel kit from GM, however if you look closely to the 45th panels....they are PEARL white. Upon first glance they look the same but I caught it when the sun hit just right. I would just get the plain white.....and they are sold in a kit of 4 pieces. ~$650-$700

I have the 45th logo because mine is a 2012 (45th year) I also have the piece that matches without the logo in my attic.

The white panels lighten up the interior a lot. My Blue Ray Metallic 1LE on order with the Blue-Ray panels is gonna be DARK!

I remember seeing them for about 450 from one of the GMparts websites, not sure which one. I want them too, just hard to drop 5 bills on plastic.

I wonder if colored panels can be added to a 1SS, which out of the box, has none?

My 2012 is a 1SS and my '13 1LE on the way is a 1SS.

Part # for the white interior panel kit is 22918240
retail is $650

Can be added to a 1SS:thumb:

Thanks! Are there other colors besides white, and how do they install?

white, yellow and orange as far as kits go. There are ways to get other colored panels(if GM ever made them on production cars) on your car but PM me and I'll have to tell you how to going about doing it there. Corporate GM watches these boards....and I don't wanna screw up my blue panel order.

Did GM ever make gloss black panel kits? If not, why not?
If so, PM me.

I think the Hot Wheels Edition and ZL1 comes with Blk.

I am looking for a GM set also.

CORRECT! And to order them you have to provide a VIN# to a ZL1/HWSE or TF3 edition to get the parts.

They also have carbon fiber pieces. Look amazing but cost a ton of money. Around $1300 if i remember right.

Seriously? Why?
There are a couple vendors that have the door panels but not the dash pieces.

Can I pop mine off and paint them?
