Any thought's on this? found it cleaning the wheels on the car! because I can't find the lug Key that I put in the console glove box ... been looking for it since 8 this morning :frusty:
Now I have to order one and pay 10.50 and wait 5 to 6 weeks, orrrr 10.50 plus 30.00 to get one next day ... this is crap! bull @%$t
good thing your not here cause then you could see what mad really looks like!:mad2:
Should I go tomorrow to the show? it's kinda far for a tire that don't look to safe... yes it's on the front
NO it's not curb rash! it almost looks like it's deteriorating or it was a factory defect that's just showing up now?

You probably would be okay but its your call. Did it lose any pressure? Cant tell but doesn't look like any cords are showing.

FAIRNOT LZ1 06-08-2013 07:18 PM

nothing showing .... just looks rotted!:noidea:

Yet poking it, softly I might add, and see what the composition is. If its still hard you're fine. It's prob just the out later (softer rubber) and not the carcass. I would have no problem driving that.

Guess I'll go easy for now and keep an eye on it :eyebulge:...or is it better to go faster and get the weight off the front end? :noidea: :fear:

Why not spend the extra $30? Considering you've already spent $50K+ on the car :iono:

I like these excuses to replace them

Happy_Dan 06-09-2013 05:14 PM

Are any of the mister locks the same? Might mine fit yours?

Keep us posted, I can't help but wonder if the compound was compromised this winter during the cold. You may want to bring the Service Bulletin when you go to the dealer. Can't hurt and I know our dealership definately knows about the cold tire issue cuz the service manager ask me if I was ever notified. This was in April, just a little late.
