camaro vs vette

the ss and base vette are going to be basically the same price now that there are specs out what do u think i should get i am 14 and when i tunr 16 i should have about 46000 to 48000 to spend

I dont think the SS would be any where near the price of a base vette, and if it was a lot of people would be very upset.

Unless you are talking about a FULLY loaded SS, it might come near it.

Welcome to the site!
The SS without options won't be anywhere near a base Vette without options.

And 16 with 45+ thousand dollars to spend? Hot damn. Count your lucky stars, bud......dang.

Get a Camaro :D

That's impressive for a teenager. What did you do - rob a bank? :)

radz28 07-25-2008 02:28 PM

Welcome. You better save for a Z28 hopefully coming in a few years ;)

Hylton 07-25-2008 02:30 PM

Be thankful I'm not your dad because you wouldn't be going near anything with so much power!

pinkcamaro10 07-25-2008 02:32 PM

Im glad that when i started driving i drove a crappy car, and worked my way up. It makes you appreciate something like the camaro so much more.

Buy a used C5 Z06 that will give you the most bang for your buck. However I have to agree with Hylton it is not wise for someone as young as you to be driving a car with the power that these cars have, you will just be asking for trouble. Get a nice Camaro RS V6 and doll it up a bit.

Put 10K down & invest the rest
