Thats kinda dangerous is it not?
And yall guys give us a hard time for street racing..
Don't even go there about this being a professional driver..
this is not on a race track on what is shown here... No safety barriers nothing..Epic fail for me
I don't care how fast the car is..

It's the same thing lots of smaller cities that don't have a dedicated race track do. Use a parking lot, mark the course with pylons, and everyone that enters signs a waiver.

WAY different than street racing. Any form of racing is dangerous, but at least everyone in this area is aware of the risks

It's a GM event. They take adequate safety precautions. :)

The drive was "The Best" 45 second ride ever !! These guys drove it like they were in a race. I thought I was good until I went for a ride with a pro. I have a lot to learn. The video is a very accurate feeling of what happens in 45 seconds.

Within GM...you have to be "approved" to drive that car. For even something as simple as getting around a show. Could you imagine not being allowed to use a product in a company you work for because it's considered too much for you to handle?

All the drivers were from the Ron Fellows Driving School and Ron Fellows was there driving people around before I got there. But after getting a ride in the ZR1, I can see that it would not be hard to get into trouble real fast without some training in the car.
