any gear except Richmond or Motive ?
After 3 weeks I shredded a 4.33 richmond gear.Def low quality parts. They were installed using the proper procedure and broken it with the propper heat cycles.....just JUNK !
Does anybody know of an alternate brand without issues ? I see alot of others who had the same issue,I just love the feel of the gear night & day diff |
Lingenfelter 3.91 (made by AAM). Haven't heard of anyone shredding those yet, but they only make 3.70's and 3.91's. U.S. Gear also just came out with some 4.10's, but they are very new, and only heard one feedback so far, but it was very positive. Let me see if i can find the thread....
Edit: Here's the thread I was talking about.... http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=210502 |
dss uses motive in there 9 inch builds i believe ... wouldnt say that they are junk!

I'm assuminig because richmond was just bought by motive you could buy motive and get richmond or other way
|
Update motive has said they will warranty the ring and pinion and send me 411s.....at least they stood behind them.

I have the AAM (LPE) 3.70 gears in my auto and absolutely no problems so far. I love them.

Anybody on drag radials hooking with no issues ?
|
How is the car, got ur new gears in?
|
A heavy car, high horsepower and slicks is always gonna be a parts breaker. Unless, you spend big money on bullet proof parts.

Yukon 4.11 installed here, haven't driven it yet, I have a lot of other mods going on.
