Finally, just some paint to clean up the alternator and bracket. Not the prettiest paint job, and I didn't go to the insane lengths Nathan did with sanding and polishing, but I've got to draw the line somewhere :bonk: :bonk:

New fuel fittings are done. The front of the rails is capped with a -6AN plug for a super clean look. In the back I have a low profile 90 degree into a 1/8npt port fitting for an electric fuel pressure sensor sending unit, then a Side swivel T fitting to the female end of an o-ringed valved quick disconnect.

And finally a close up of the quick disconnect. These things are really trick, and they make them in almost any configuration, and any fluid type.

Updates! I managed to get to the car and flatbed it to the garage. A lot of progress recently. I've got the engine harness out, and started on removing the spot welds for the fuse box, abs tower and hood latch. Bay is almost empty and then it's on to sand, fill, prep, prime and paint. I'm on the fence between gloss black or gunmetal for the engine bay. Anyone want to chime in?? Here is a pic of the passenger tower:

Here are some more progress shots. Ive got -10 breathers that will be bulkheaded into the strut towers to hidden catch cans. The pic with the Iphone in it is the -16 rad hoses ive created. Likely they will both sets of lines will be re sized once the engine is in the car. Spot welds are being ground down as well. More to come soon!

Painted the master. Waiting on 1/2" to -6an fittings to run to a pair of remote reservoirs. New SS brake lines in -3an soon to be added to the prop block for balance.

I managed to run half of the body harness up a drain hole to the cowl. Obviously part of the cowl must be removed to fit the holley hi ram intake, but it should leave enough of a tray to leave the harness a Chanel to pass through as opposed to across the firewall as before. The hole right about the firewall electrical connection is perfectly placed to hide the nasty connector above as well. It cleans things up beside the master and leaves space for my billet prop block. More pics tonight perhaps... Something exciting is in store!!

Everything is coming together slowly. Making the switch to a 4L80e soon. Lots going on. New rad mounted way out front. There's tons of space between the engine and fan, looking into the bay you can't even see it. Tubular front crash support still to make. Cut out the fascia fog lamps for air ducts to the trans cooler. Need to rework the engine harness but the body harness is in finally.
