Bad Luck

Just wanted to share my misery with everyone. I have a 2011 Camaro SS/RS in Synergy green. I had the rims powder coated, which took about two weeks then they were off to the paint shop. One day before I was supposed to pick them up the building caught on fire. Needless to say this is what's left of my rims. The powder coat is ruined and the paint wasn't finished. My luck. Now the waiting game for the insurance company.

:sorry:, That really sucks, hopefully the insurance will come through fast.

holy flames bat man!!!

Yikes.... coming from a fire investigator... depending on what caused the fire and extent and monetary value... the insurance company may hold up any payout which can prolong your situation.
You may be able to file a claim through your provider and then have them recover the money once the insurance company settles. |
That sucks! Sorry that you have to deal with this...good luck
At least it was just the rims. Good luck with the process.

Yeah I'm grateful it wasn't the whole car. I think the most frustrating part is that it was one day away from the rims being amazing.
be glad they wernt on the car
Wow that truly does suck.
Man that really sucks, such a fluke accident. I hope it all turns out for you
Could've been much worse. You still have the car. Wheels are much easier to replace than a car. Good luck with insurance process.
Did you ask for forged rims?
Time for some ZL1/1LE rims!
