Silver 2SS with Painted on Rally Stripes
 

Hi guys, I just got my car back from the body shop, where we took the hood, trunk, and spoiler off and painted the rally stripes on the car.
I really didn't want the edges of the stripes to start lifting off on me, and I like the shinny look better than the flat black.
Here are the after, and before shots...

Lookin good, definately think the painted look better than the flat stickers.

There is a great restoration/hot rod shop in Warminster Ontario called Body by Biggs (www.bodybybiggs.com).
I have had him restore a couple of my cars and he does an excellent job for a reasonable price and I strongly reccomend him. He just finished doing my wife's car, and my stripes were done at the same time. His number is (705)325-0845 if you want him to quote a price.
We used the factory stripes as a template so they would be accurate.
Also, we had the stripes end around the edge of the rear of the hood and trunklid. The factory stripes do not wrap around the edge, and leave an odd looking body coloured stripe near the windshield and back window.
