Anyone from Siouxland area? (IA, NE, SD)
 

I'm thinking about getting a cruise/drag race day set up in the siouxland area; probably at a local airport. I'm just curious if anyone is from around the Sioux City area and would be interested in helping get something set up for this spring!

It's goin pretty good. I want to get something set up for this spring. Was thinking about talking to a small local airport and seeing if can use the runway for a day. 2 yrs ago Emmetsburg let us drag cars, we just had to get get off the runway when a plane wanted to land (2 all day). I don' t know about down your way but there are no tracks around here. They are all dirt. Would like to get a bunch of Camaros together for a cruise also. wut do u think?

Theres a few SD guys on here, most of them in Sioux Falls so im sure they woul,d love to come and play. I live in Rapid City tho..

I got my car thru Billion up there....and of course it would be a 1/4mi drag

I go to Marion, SD to the Drag strip. It's a little south and west of Sioux Falls -1/4 Mile. I also plan on going to MAM by Omaha this year, it is a 2.2 mile road track and it should be fun. I would be interested in coming down for something.

we have a 1/4 mile strip 40 miles west of Grand Island in Kearney. and also if anyone is interested there a huge cruise nite event every year in kearney also. lots of really nice cars. It is in the middle of july sumtime, i'll have to look and get the exact dates.

Sioux Falls area may be good. I'm from Northern SD

The Marion drag strip don't sound too bad

Im down for whatever. I live on Watertown so not to far of a trip.

There is plenty of room there and a bunch of new camaros would definately be cool - not to mention the fun of the drag strip!!!

Damn - I wish I could make that one. My car is going back to LPE for a new clutch, shifter and some other goodies and will be in Indiana until the Camaro5 Fest.
