Camaro's first/last taste of snow and ice.

My Camaro got it's first taste of snow and ice today. On Friday it will move on to DFW and never see it again.

It was 26 degrees today and I didn't have any issues sliding or losing grip with the PZeros in the snow or ice. I was pleasantly surprised after reading all threads on here about how bad the PZeros do in the cold.

Moving? DFW should be a whole lot nicer
this time of year :)

Good luck to you

Trust me. You don't want to drive that in those conditions. It'll do it (sort of) but once things get hairy you're done! :yikes:

Yep... my car had several inches on it.

Yeah but you have to take it off the driveway first to test out those conditions:iono:

Camaros always welcome here in dfw, once springs comes around we should be back at meeting up/ and cruises here locally. I wouldn't worry to much about winters here, besides the drivers who absolutely suck at winter driving! Lol

P Zero's and snow

I haven't had as much luck in the snow with the P Zero's....:yikes:

All of my experience driving mine in the snow has made me realize that they truly are summer only tires. I'm glad you didn't experience the same, but I think most of us will continue to try to avoid further testing of the theory.

I wouldn't put much trust in those summer-only tires my friend. I just came back from Vegas via Flagstaff, AZ and can only imagine what would have been if not for my General AS-03's. The snow was very wet and stuck to everything even the cold tires; i could feel the rubber actually harden up!

When i got on the on-ramp, the traction control violently kicked in and righted me over the black-ice. After that bout, i think I'd rather stay home than drive an SS in winter conditions.
