Xpipe noise?
 

Just bought a 2012 2SS 6.2 V8 auto trans. Just had flowmaster 40 series mufflers, removed the resonator and an Xpipe installed. Has anyone had any weird noises from the Xpipe? When cruising at a low rpm and the throttle is slightly pressed the exhaust sounds as if its loading up and it makes a gargled pitch noise then very quickly goes back to a normal sound. Any thoughts?? Anyone else hear this and is it normal?:iono:

That's the AFM kicking in it drops it in to four cylinder mode
I did the resonator delete for a x pipe and it was horrible until tune it out

If I get rid of the xpipe and go to straight pipes will that get rid of the noise?

Prob. not. Have to get rid of AFM. I did on mine and got better mileage after a tune with V8 all the time.
