I've heard that chrome doesn't dissipate heat as well as just a polished finish. I know that's not really the discussion, and I know most everyone knows that black absorbs heat, which is obviously not desirable in this situation, but it looks sick either way. I just think they look better than the KBs and Whipples, IMHO.

There is ZERO effects of EITHER coating on the performance of the blower. Anything you read about one being better than the other is just internet chatter.
