Hello all

First post on this site.

Next year im going to be racing a 67 camaro in a UK series. Ive always been big into muscle cars, be it camaros, corvettes, challengers etc etc. I have a load of pics to put up over time of cars we have owned in the past.

The camaro i'm going to be racing comes with a nice story. When i was 5 (now 22) my dad and his team converted the car from road, to race. Some years later the car was sold, and to cut a long story short it is now back in our hands!

It was involved in an accident so needs some time, money and loving spent on it but thats half the fun in my opinion.

I'll attatch some quick pics now to give you some ideas on what we're working with! Many more to come.

All the best
Tom.

Few more photos. Been working hard on the firewall, de-gresing and cleaning ready for paint. Lots of bits in the parafin tub ready to be cleaned down for a fresh coat too. When finished this car is going to be spot on :chevy:

Tom,

Welcome to the site! nice wheels. Keep posting pics as you get her built. There is another site you might check out Camaro Research Group for 1st gen Camaros. (Not so much on heavy mods like yours, but some good experts, none-the-less.)

I love those wheels!

I'll continue adding pictures for those interested, its going to be a lenghty process, but a whole lot of fun! :D

Heres the paint scheme we're aiming for....

Update...

In the process of removing all paint and bodyfiller from the firewall with the 4.5" grinder and wire brush. Hopefully this will create a nice base for the primer and then fresh colour!

Also got the interior hung up on the rollcage so we can get the floor sanded down smooth for fresh paint too!

Been a while since I've updated, so here goes!

The firewall, front clip, interior and boot are now grinded down and ready for paint. The car is being "dolly'd" off to the painters in 2 weeks. The sections mentioned above are going to be painted grey to make it look clean and neat.

Engine and box have both been rebuilt, and looking good!

Oh, and we have a ford rampbed travelling the atlantic as we speak to toe the car to races! Prepared by Holman Moody as well which is uber cool!

Tom.
