Window Sticker much higher than ordered???
 

I ordered a 1ss/rs back in early Nov. Only thing besides the RS pkg added was Auto tranny. Dealer printed me a handout of what I was expecting, and I have a copy
Base SS $30,750
RS Pkg $1,200
Auto $995
Grand Total before TT&L and DFC (which he said he could waive the DFC some way) $32,940

I am looking at window sticker about 3.5k higher, and am confused. Total options says $4,995, and now it states that MSRP is $36,550 including DFC. Any insight as to why its more?

I dunno...my 2SS/RS was less than that (M6).

I see the B.A. stereo on there...that's another $400 option, but I don't see anything else in the list that could add up to an extra $5k.

Could they have added some dealer installed extra's by mistake? like the ground FX? Stripes?

Your dealer added the BA sound system and the GFX to your order. I would call them ASAP and get those removed if you really don't want them
The Boston Acoustics system is $495
The Ground Effects PKG is another $2,265

Well for one you have this on there.

That's at least a good chunk of change right there.

The stereo is gonna be a little hard to get removed from the order since the car is already built...tell them you don't want to pay for it (for the stereo that is, not the car). The GFX is dealer installed, so hopefully that wont be an issue to leave off.

Are you sure that's your car?

They can't take of the GFX since it is part of the sticker. If they did they could get in trouble for not delivering a car with all the options listed on the sticker. I saw a thread on here where someone was also trying to get rid of the GFX without much luck.

Since the gfx is dealer installed and you did not order it there is no way you are obligated to purchase it. As for the radio upgrade, that's a problem. Try to get a discount on that. The gfx is what is inflating your msrp.

Man when I oreded it I specifically said NO to EVERYTHING. No GFX, no BA sound system, or sun roof.

This is the car I have been tracking, and he gave me the order number: NMGM48. Its going to the right location and its a black 1ss w/auto, so I am pretty sure its my car.

I will email him tomorrow and see what he says, but I will not be paying the extra 3k for it.

Do you still have the original order print out (showing exactly what you ordered)?

I wouldn't be surprised if it's not your car, but possible that they messed up the order somewhere in the process. I've heard of things getting left off (like RS package) but not getting added on.

mine came with a few extra stuff that I didn't choose during the build. Still said 38065, so I'm happy with mine.

Yea I still have that printout I got when I ordered. Hopefully I will get some good info from him tomorrow. My sales guy has been good so far, and I have no doubt he can set things stright for me.

Cool...let us know what happens. Since you have that print-out, you at least have some leverage if there was a mistake. Hopefully you'll get a free Boston Acoustic stereo :thumbsup: (and no ground fx).

It looks like thats the extra stuff is tacked on. I'd be pissed considering you said no to the options. You have a chance to save $2,265 since the GFX will be installed at the dealership, but like everyone said BA sound is put in at the factory.
