Lol oh no....I kept that car spotless

Meltdownaverted 04-04-2013 02:14 PM

even with a warrant the technology has been made illegal to be used

CocoaKid 04-04-2013 03:03 PM

Lol, it's ironic how it can be illegal to find a stolen car

Meltdownaverted 04-04-2013 04:03 PM

illegal to activate OnStar remotely :(

smarbrit 04-04-2013 04:14 PM

Do you know where this guy moved to or know where any of his buddies are? I didn't think it would be that hard to find a stolen Camaro????

With OnStar, if you've had it activated in the past and this happens, can it be remote started with a password? Or only with pressing the button regardless? Just curious.

Meltdownaverted 04-04-2013 04:41 PM

only pressing the button now, I never knew this till now either. Think I'll be Keeping my OnStar Active

NFRNOSS 04-04-2013 09:06 PM

Yeah, I've kept my onstar since I got the car. I just put my account "on hold" during the winter when the car is parked. I also bitched about the price difference between America onstar and Canadian, and now I'm only paying $16.95 + GST a month for it. Last couple years they gave me free nav too. With the free nav in iPhone I didn't bother negotiating for it this time ;)

Nothing really yet, I talked to his stepbrother and apparently he was going back to the shelter, but that's all I've heard since Monday. I'm kinda surprised it hasn't been found yet too, it's no Honda Civic lol

I'll be getting paid out this week from my insurance company, and I hate to say this but I've got my eye on a certain Japanese car...
