6TH Generation Camaro Convertible
 

According to the April Car and Driver cover story "25 Cars Worth Waiting For," there will certainly be a 6th generation convertible. It's not much, but it gives me more hope than I've had before. Hopefully the final product will not wear the obligatory split grill front end that graces practically every current Chevy offering, as illustrated in the article's rendering.

There's no way GM could be dumb enough to put a Malibu front end on the 6th Generation. :der:

As long as they put that top system that's on the new Stingray, it WILL be a hit.

After 1.5 years, 45,000 miles - I still take every chance I get to put the top down & cruise...if there had been no problems with the 2011-2012 tops, there would be no question about the vert returning.

Designing a whole new system will put a lot more faith back into the public's way of thinking. And the new Stingray system eliminates the water bags, so why not put the same type system on our verts?:iono:
