Bowties are available in mirror, and brushed finishes. GM logos, and custom etching if desired.
The ones pictures above are the hidden fastener version. Not on the website yet, and for now there is a $20.00 additional cost for doing that.
Not available for sale yet. but will be next week. For now we only have the versions with the visible fasteners.

Thanks, Roger

Ordered - thanks Roger for all the work and patience in getting these to market. I went with:

2010 Camaro

2LT RS (silverframe, red fill on brushed bow tie)

#3434 4/15/09 (built/born date)

Do you have a picture of the brushed finish? How does the hidden fasteners work? Will you keep us posted when this is available? Thanks...awesome looking product.

Here is the link for the pictures,

http://www.emblempros.com/inc/sdetail/8872

1) Click on the more pictures link at the bottom of the mail picture.
More pictures will come up.
2) The mirror ones have the clouds and sky reflecting in them.
3) The brushed ones do not.

The brushed stainless finish is exactly like the finish on stainless kitchen appliances.

Thanks, Roger

I am really curious on how these attach to the pad. I understand the bolts and you have to put holes in the pad but I love to see pictures or step by step instructions. Hidden fasteners sound really interesting as well.

Oh by the way, I love my Dash Plaque and I can wait to receive the Hydrocoated Fuse Box cover that was ordered last week! Great job on the innovative Camaro accessories!

I need to write the step by step installation instructions, with drawings tomorrow. I will include this in with each bowtie, and most likely send out as an email attachment as well.
The simple method is that:
1) Place the bowtie up to the hood insulation and make a mark on your hood liner where the bolt holes are.
2) Cut small slits, or "X's" at those locations.
3) Place the bolts through the bowtie, and the slits in the liner one at a time, and install the lock nuts, and washer we are providing you, on the back side.

It is important to note that the entire liner does not need to come off. This by only removing the four front plastic inserts on the liner. This will take about 10-15 minutes if you have all of the tools at hand. And in no way can these bolts touch your hood.

Thanks, Roger

Would it be possible to get a logo like this in lieu of the standard SS, RS, etc.?

We contacted Hasbro twice about some of these autobot head logos, and have not heard back. So, we cannot make autobot/decepticon logos until we talk to them.
If you can find a large enough decal, you could place one on there yourself.
We can just leave a spot empty for you.

Thanks, Roger :):chevy::):chevy:

I guessed that'd be the case. What can you tell us about the plan to light these? Is the plan to light the outside border of the bowtie or from inside the center logos?
I'm just imagining what it would look like lit from the inside but I'm guessing your going to use LED fasteners.

We absolutely know it can be done. We just need to sit down and do some design work to make it happen. We can try multiple methods to see what works best. Lighting these will add costs to them. The cost would depend on which method is chosen, and the extra time we need put into one, to make it lit.
When we were making the lighted door sills, we were not sure about costs on those either, until we settled on which way we were going to do it.
Our initial thoughts are that you guys may not want to pay what it will cost to do it.

Guess it doesn't really matter if you can't do an autobot logo. How do I order one with no logo? Maybe you can add "none" to your drop down list?

We actually do those logos for free. So, no one will select "none"
If you can tell me what you want on it, I can sell it to you directly with the text you want.
We sell them plain with nothing on them at all.
http://www.emblempros.com/inc/sdetail/8869 $74.99

We sell them with whatever etching you want: "that we are allowed to do"
http://www.emblempros.com/inc/sdetail/8870 $84.99

You can get a bowtie with two lines of text on top, and two lines of text on the bottom, with the center empty for $98.00
This is an excellent deal, and you can do what you like with the empty location.

Please let me know. If the website does not allow what you want, I can make it for you anyway. We try to set the sale pages up for a lot of different options so that the customers can get what they want.
However, there are a lot of items we make every week, that are generated from one on one sales to customers.

Thanks, Roger :):chevy::):chevy:
