great work! looks sweet!

CamaroDreams07 06-19-2012 12:39 PM

Terrific work, as always.

Not to sound like a dick, but is anybody else wondering who ponied up the cash for that kind of detail on a 2000 Civic, that looks to be bone stock? I mean, nothing against the car or owner, but the detail probably came close to the value...

lscamaro 06-19-2012 01:32 PM

Wow! That must have taken forever! It was in rough shape

I'm also wondering who paid lol that civic looks like a beater... Well used to lol

CPT_Hoolie 06-19-2012 02:08 PM

Are you on a unicycle in the "wet sanding headlights" photo?

Phil does all his detailing on a unicycle. It's the only way for him to be challenged :D

Give it a little tappy tap

:D That was exactly what I was thinking. My bet is Phil was helping out a bud or a really good customer.

Excellent work as always Phil. Also, where you able to buff out the paint transfer or did it require more than just buffing?

DetailersDomain 06-19-2012 02:35 PM

nope this was a regular customer that paid the same as the other guys $850 was what this one billed out with the Opti Coat application.

all he wanted was to fix and protect his car for the next 3 years as he's paying for grad school at the moment.

here is the creeper we were using.

The Racatac

I can see spending that amount for that level of service...Would that much get you more when sellling? 2000 honda, not sure.

How did the bumper come out where it looks like he hit something?

PM Designs 06-20-2012 06:36 AM

Nice work, although I'm still lost as to why someone who obviously never cared to maintain the paint on their vehicle decided to spend all that money to get it looking good again.

vafinest25 06-20-2012 07:53 AM
