I've had mine on for two weeks and it hasn't thrown a code. I didn't disconnect the battery when I installed it either.

i have a exhaust and k&n CAI and my car needed a major transmission repair... it was at the dealership for a week... no problems .... all under warranty... but they did try to void my warranty for doing to many burnouts as they say ...

I removed the neg. bat. cable and no codes to date. I installed over 3 months ago. I felt a slight performance gain, but I never dynoed.
One word of caution, K & N recommends that you check and retighten the bolts after a couple of days. Make sure you do so. Mine were loose. I also had to tweek them a few weeks ago. |
ive had mine for a couple months now i love it
