Jacks, which one is best?

OK, There is one topic on this here, but I need one ASAP to complete more Mods on the Camaro.

My jack would not slide under the car so I need to find one that works and fits without any issues or before spending the money on one just to find out it does not fit under. I saw some at walmart that were a low profile, any takers on this?

What do you all reccomend?

Thanks

I've got Napa's low profile jack and is working well for me. My SS is lowered 1.25". Look for a sale as the jack is normally $250.

+1
Good jacks aren't cheap and cheap jacks aren't good.

There is another option, which has been discussed previously.

Race Ramps can be used in lieu of purchasing another floor jack.

Here is a picture of my "roll up" ramp. I just drive up on them and use my regular jack to put it up on jack stands. It saved me from having to buy another floor jack:

I got the lo pro torin jack from walmart.

It is not low enough for my car. Dropped about 1".

I use some 10x2 boards that I made a little ramp out of and then jack it up with the low pro.

I have the Arcan XL35 jack. It is a low profile jack that is perfect for lowered cars, yet can jack up trucks and SUVs as well. If you have a Northern Tools store in your area, they should have it there. The one here in Tulsa has a couple of them for $150.

Even better! :D. I got mine at Northern Tool for $120 with extended warranty a while back. Price has gone up a little bit, but its well worth it!

I have the Costco one and I love it. It gets under the car and holds really well. I've always wanted a shop quality jack and finally got one. I still believe in using jack stands as a back up just in case.:headbang:
