Synner 05-05-2011 10:02 AM

$325 for an LED on an 8" harness? WTF

gstev 05-05-2011 10:03 AM

That's what I thought when I saw that... talk about profit margin!

Nice, but Im not comfortable drilling into my car. I feel like Id mess something up. Nice to see you can make it orange.

paulsandhu 05-05-2011 11:50 AM

At least some of the parts are available individually.... factory painted GFX? Yes please! Love the spoiler too. I wonder if there is a way to get the factory painted On*Star antenna... mine needs to be replaced (once I put it back on the road) so I'm hoping I can convince them to give me the painted one.

edgehead2000 05-05-2011 07:48 PM

Nice summit white!

I originally wanted the Synergy summit white version but kinda glad I got away with my LS SIM. $10k on top of the base price is too much when you can get it done for half the price.

BackinBlackSS/RS 05-05-2011 07:50 PM

Becky, Can that Hurst shifter with red stitching be ordered by itself? I got to have that.

Hetfield03 05-05-2011 08:24 PM

THATS WHY I COULDN'T GET CGM! Holding out for that car! :(

PYROLYSIS 05-05-2011 08:49 PM

One friend: "So what car did you get?"
Other friend: "A 2011 Chevrolet Camaro 2ss Synergy Edition Level Two."
One friend: "That's quite a mouthful!"
Other friend: "I haven't even told you about the 21 inch factory painted wheels, red engine cover, red brake calipers, hurst short-throw shifter, heritage grill, and body colored antenna!"
One friend: "What, no red instrument cluster with accent lighting?"
Other friend: ""

Scrappy Doo 05-06-2011 12:51 AM

I guess I don't see that package being worth 10,000 on top of a new 2ss/rs.....

bpoirier 05-06-2011 07:20 AM

My wife loves the look of the Synergy Series car and wants one. I see all of the pictures are 6spd manual. Are these available with an auto?

alexcfwu 05-08-2011 07:22 AM

They look great. Does it make more sense to be options for the 2012 models instead?

cipriank 05-08-2011 08:27 AM

anyone know where to get the hood stripes?????????????

WVCamaro10 05-08-2011 09:13 AM

I would love to have just the floor matts anyone know were i could just them?

typhoidfvr 05-08-2011 09:16 AM

[QUOTE=Synner;3182807]$325 for an LED on an 8" harness? WTF[/QUOT

RIGHT?!

PoorMansCamaro 05-08-2011 09:23 AM

they should have called it something else. when i think of "synergy" i think green...

Hetfield03 05-08-2011 09:24 AM

I agree.

b4z 05-08-2011 11:02 AM

I thought ordering was closed for 2011s?
And have seen many Camaros with these 21s already. Is that a different package?

Indpowr 05-08-2011 11:15 AM

so, lets see you get custom stripes, interior stitching, and some body paint for 5-10k more than sticker.

I am all about custom packages from gm but that is a lot of money for what your getting.

I could see a lot more items for less money and make it nicer.

Char1ieone 05-08-2011 01:09 PM

What's the difference between the two packages again cause I can't tell the difference between to two that makes em 5000 difference?

Just the rims. To my understanding the rims are $5,000. I wonder if you get to keep the stock rims or if the 21s come straight from the factory.

ViperTomcat 05-08-2011 01:45 PM

Eh...

I'm all for special releases to boost sales..but this is just a rip off. In my mind special editions should be more than just appearance packages.

Dodge tried to do the same thing with the "Mopar '10" Challenger R/T's. $5000+ for essentially a CAI, strut braces and a bit of custom interior bits. It just isnt worth it.

WI-MO B/W 05-08-2011 04:09 PM

Stop Complaining!

Most of these posts are whining...

If you don't like or cannot afford, don't buy.

I am pretty sure that GM will sell all 500 units being offered for this limited edition.

All of the whining sounds like group of AMC Pacer / Chevy Vega owners complaining about the cost of the Yugo!:barf:

Thats because P.T Barnum summed it up quite well.

adclass72 05-08-2011 05:44 PM

package B adds only rims and tires for another $ 5000.00 are they smoking crack , I would rather buy an aftermarket set that look better. :confused0068:

ViperTomcat 05-08-2011 05:58 PM

Well people have shown that they'll spend many thousands of dollars on simple apperance packages, IE...Transformers edition.

BackinBlackSS/RS 05-08-2011 06:05 PM

This is an informational thread put out by our own BeckyD. If you don't like the package, that's fine. No need to come in her thread and crap all over it.

Last time I checked we werent bashing Becky for providing the information! On the contrary, I thank her for the information.

But I also wasnt aware that debate and discussion was forbidden in the thread. If thats the case, then the mods can easily wipe out the posts and sticky the post up in the top section.

It's her thread. You want to give your negative comments, start it in your own thread. Debate and discussion is not forbidden. How about for common courtesy to Becky for crying out loud. If you can't see that then I don't know what to tell you.
