I agree with the other posts. Contact ON-Star and ask what sort of deals they have. The will give you some sort of a deal to get you back.

Every year for the past 5 I have called and said I have two vehicles and can only drive one at a time. I get both for half off...

I was going to cancel and they gave me a better price, I asked for a senior discount and I got a lower price for that. Never hurts to ask, the people you are talking to are working for a living also and can relate to not being able to afford things.
