Tempting offer on a Corvette, need your opinion!!

A month ago I made this guy an offer of $50,000.00 CDN for this car. $6K less than asking price. It was too low at that time, now he emailed me saying he may accept it. What do I do. It is a 2006 Z06 with 15 thousand miles on it. manual trans, after market stereo, navigation. what do I pick?? this or the 2SS/RS LS3, SIM with CGM rally stripes that should ship any day. Camaro was only going to be driven on nice days, back seats barely used if any.

Damn that's inciting ( to me) idk
where are you gonna drive the camaro or corvette weekend car or Daily driver? |
was planning on only using camaro on perfect days, not a daily driver.
Are you serious? Silver with Gray stripes? For some reason I don't think that would look right...maybe I'm not picturing it right?
sorry but Z06 ftw!! I would not take the ls3 corvette over the camaro, but the z06 I would
that's tough choice..I would go with the camaro..a little more practical for me..now if it's not your only car..then it's a really tough decision...
SIM with CGM rally stripes looks good, the pics I have are too big to upload. ANyone have a good pic of the color combo?
well yes the Z06 is more powerful, but if you live in an area that has lots of hills like where i am i say take the camaro because its further off the ground with less of a chance of you bottoming out. plus the camaro is brand new and its always nice to have a new car
I live in saskatchewan canada, no hills haha.
I think the Camaro is more practical, TCO is less and full warranty ......
Z06, tons of guys use the for daily drivers and the 2006 model is the fast one...just make sure the roof recall has been done if not it's a free dealer fix..
Ah, I see you have the same decision that I have tormented myself with every day since I joined this site, and even before that. The answer is this. Do you want a badass car that goes really fast, or do you want a badass car that goes pretty fast while hauling a couple friends around. That is really all it comes down to. Both cars have the wow factor right now. there is no reason you should be dissapointed with either car, but in this case, my vote goes for.....you've got the cash, go for The red one.:D:D:D

Is the Corvette still under warranty AND is the warranty transferable?
That would be a major consideration for me. Which would you rather have? Are you financing? Is the money an issue? How much difference are you talking bottom line and is that worth it to you because either one will be awesome. Good luck either way. |
Vette 1st...always
There really is no comparison. If you've never owned a Vette, get the Vette.
