Windshield Wiper Arm
Hey Everyone,
I was driving home the other night in the snow and my wiper arm snapped off after snow built up underneath, i contacted Chevrolet Customer Service and was told it was NOT covered by my warranty I was just curious if anyone needed this replaced and the cost I currently own a 2013 2LT/RS and only had it for about 3 weeks B.T.W I didnt have a choice to drive in the bad weather so please dont ask why I was out. Thank You |
A quick search on eBay I found a wiper arm for under $40 with free shipping. It is only one nut holding it to the wiper linkage, you should be able to replace it yourself. It's insanely simple.

Thank you so much I was pisst when it came off, car is only 3 weeks old :(
B.T.W Nice ride, I love black wheels..Powder Coated? |
I would just take it to the selling dealer. Just because customer service said it wasn't covered its the dealers choice. They have ways to make it covered :chevy:.

The arm itself is what snapped off, part of it is still connected to the car, maybe it was a defective part?

You're welcome! A lot of cars run through my shop with broken or loose wiper arms from the snow, new or old. Don't feel bad about it, it's unfortunate! The wheels are from the Bumblebee edition, which I ordered not long after I got the car. I believe they are painted...? Not sure, actually! :) |
Spoke with Lisa at Atlantic Chevrolet and she will cover the fee for it, now thats a good dealership!
