Clunking noise in the back!!

I recently have installed BMR's 1" drop spring kit in my 2010 SS and have barely even driven 200 miles and I have already started getting this clunk noise from the rear. If I was to drive over a speed hump normally and straight, I won't hear anything, however if I was to drive over the hump at an angle forcing each wheel to individually go over the hump, then I hear the clunking noise come from the rear corners of the car...but only inside the car. As in if my only my rear right wheel is going over the hump (or any obstacle), I will hear a clunk noise from the rear right corner of the cabin of the vehicle and if it was the left wheel that was going over the hump, I hear the same noise in the rear left corner of the cabin of the car. I have asked a friend to stand out and keep an ear out for any noise, and whilst I could hear the noise clearly inside the car...nothing can be heard outside. On the other hand, if both rear wheels were to go over the hump (or any obstacle) at the same time, no sound can be heard inside nor outside the car. Any idea what could possibly be wrong?

Could it be the bushings are not timed right???

I wish I knew what you were talking about my friend but unfortunately I don't know. What I do know is that its unusual that no one has replied here yet!!

Were your bushings timed? Its essential that the bushings be timed so that the ride quality won't suffer

Couple things that come to mind right away:

Did you get an alignment after the install? If not, go get one!!

Did your springs come with insolators? If so, make sure they are positioned properly. If not, that sucks!

Is everything TIGHT with loc-tite?

And already mentioned, did you time your bushings after the install and BEFORE your alaignment??

That's what I'd check first.

For those that don't know, this was provided to assist the timing issues.

They said they timed the bushings when they alingned it but i'm sure they didnt cause the ride is squishy. Ill bet they didnt do my rear upper control arm bushings.

I experienced a similar issue and after a full disassembly and inspection that revealed nothing I went to coil-over and never had a problem again.
