Rear Speaker Adapters

Has anyone used these rear speaker adapters?

If so, is there any problem with mounting these?

I have seen these and the MDF ones from ********. but I am leaning towards the PVC type for longevity. Our Camaro is black and lives in Houston so heat and humidity don't bode well for MDF.

I bought front speaker adapters from that website for the same reason (full depth ones), but I didn't go with them for the rears, because they don't have any depth to them, and will cause the speaker to sit 4 or 5 inches from the grill.
