Tied series! That last out was all WONG, lol!
Still confident we'll get the job done with Waino and Wacka.
Go Cards!

...Back to square one...lol....two out of three...home-field ad back to Boston...

WTH...Cards get bases loaded, no outs and can't score...not good....

...Still anybody's Series....Rooting for the Cards, but Boston just seems like they want it a little more....

The Red Sox have never done so much with so little production. Except for #34 the offfense has been moribund. Odds are they find their bats in a big way soon!

I've been saying the same thing, thank God Boston isn't playing any better than us or we would have been swept! Same goes for Boston, if we were playing our norm Boston would have been swept.
You have two of the best hitting teams in the Majors and neither are hitting!
Hopefully things change for BOTH teams tonight.

Pitching has been a bit better than expected from both clubs both starting and the bullpen with generally few pitching mistakes. When you have flamethrowers and ball wranglers out there every inning for both sides, you are going to have some low team batting averages. Still, these are tighter games than anyone expected though and every game so far has been basically imbalanced off by the other team pouncing on the mistakes. Not saying every mistake cost every game, but there were huge ones certainly changed the dynamics of each. (Gm 1: Shoddy Stl defense. Gms 2 and 3: Boston's bad ideas to throw to 3rd and sailing the ball off into space. Gm 4: A Stl Maness sinker that didn't sink and ended up over the wall in LF.)

Isn't this McCarver's last WS games he's going to be involved in? God, I hope so. He is about the most annoying Capt. Obvious analyst I've ever witnessed. Stuff like "The second baseman made a heckuva play just to keep that ball from going into center field and XXX has to stop at second. If the ball gets by the second baseman, XXX ends up on third putting him in better scoring position." or "You can tell he doesn't have his best stuff because he's having a bit of trouble finding the strike zone." Well, thanks for the update, Tim - duhhhh. At least half the game each night I just mute the sound of the TV just to keep from hearing him talk.

That's pretty good. Only it's TWO more. Hopefully.

The way this series has been going, it would be great to go down to the last game, winner take all. Of course I'm wishing. STL has to win game 6 first.

I must say, so far it's been one of the best played WS I've seen in a long time. Gotta tip your hat to Lester and Ortiz. I think I'd walk him with the bases loaded the way he's zero'ed in right now.

Tuff road to travel for the Birds.
It just seems like Boston wants it more right now. They certainly have came up with some timely hits!
Maybe the last two losses will spark something in the club house.
Go Cards!

One way may help walk Ortiz even if the bases are loaded Do not let have a chance to hit
