Mucho take it easy. :)

Today, the engine and supercharger are in the car. I took some pictures, but it's 9pm and this is the first chance I had to log onto Camaro5.
When I get into the office, I'll post some more pics.

Stay tuned!!!

Johnny Cash Candy

It's like a kid at Christmas when you open the hood on the Johnny Cash Camaro. The engine is in and it looks awesome with the polished supercharger and cold air induction system. Check out the MTI Racing belt tensioner, this tensioner has 3 mounting points instead of the stock 2 which can flex under pressure and throw belts. You can also see the the front swaybar which will help to keep the BIG CUBE under control. Stay tuned all you power nuts, ignition soon.

BAD ASS BUILD, but its not a big block. Just a bored and stroked LS7. Im guessing it will make 750rwhp. Its going to be a tire roasting fool!

Yes!
The beauty of this small block 454 stroker is that we don't have to lug around all that old-school Big Block Iron. Big punch in a small package. BAM!

Hey, did I miss something? No video or dyno sheet? Awww man, I want to hear the final product.

Not even a little 1/4 mile run?? :( :paddle:

boostedyards86 03-16-2010 07:07 PM

if its over 800whp Ill be surprised. The tvs is very happy below 800whp and is difficult to get more than that.

The car has been at the stereo shop for about a month getting 50 gazillion watts of sound and custom interior installed. We put a preliminary tune in it so he could break in the engine. After the stereo, it comes back here to wrap up the tuning and dyno.

We'll keep you posted.

MTI Racing 04-06-2010 03:01 PM

Car is currently being broken in, check back soon for updates!

Richy_Rich 09-02-2010 08:19 AM

Numbers, numbers, what's the numbers on that thnig?

calbert1999 02-14-2011 06:09 PM

Why is everyone putting 454ci and SC's? Isn't this engine made for NA applications? Why not the 416ci or 427ci, and forged internals? Isn't that the "safe" way to go?

Gary B 02-14-2011 06:46 PM

If I'm not mistaken, a well known tuner on here has done this already and has made 912rwhp with this combo. Thats all I'm saying....as I'm not sure if its set-up for a sleeper type thing....
