2015 Traverse showed up recently with the new blue. Looks more like Imperial Blue than Blue Ray. Dark with a ton of metallic flake.

Navy Blue Metallic

Why won't GM just give us a nice blue for the Camaro? I always wanted Jetstream off of the C6 vettes, or Laguna blue on the C7 would look great on a Camaro. They just keep offering bland blues that aren't popular.

We may have heard that a time or two on this site. Totally agree.

Those pics say it is Blue Ray Metallic version 2.0, same color with different name. With the pic of the sample color I thought it was going to be more close to Imperial Blue Metallic. We will have to see once more pics and cars actually start to roll out with this color.

It's much more IBM than BRM, at least to my eyes. Blue Ray was much too dark, I called it "not black" as in this Camaro is not black. Maybe the color doesn't translate well in pictures, but IMO Blue Velvet it's far lighter than BRM while still a darker blue.

Has that off blue Gray tint to it like BRM had at least in the pics. I look forward to seeing more pics and seeing the color in person.

Don't know why but in that pic in your Signature your car looks the best I've ever seen out of a BRM car. I've never seen a BRM car that was that bright Blue in color, even in direct sunlight.

I feel like with blue velvet in the name it should be a lot lighter and have some kind of pop to it. Nothing spectacular for anew color IMO.

Yeah BRM really pops in direct sunlight. I love it.
