HAHAHA

This guy clearly never owned one of these cars. I had a 1988 and the thing was the biggest rattle trap on the road. The car ran hot as hell (electric fan setup) and that spiffy trunk lid broke constantly. He seemed to forget the leaky T-tops and the motor eats EGR valves like candy (annoying rattle sound from the engine compartment when they go south). But hey, it's ORIGINAL and WICKED AWESOME.

your correct, any of the 3rd gen camaros i ever rode in rattled like crazy and I believe the sunroofs leaked, if not on all of them it was most of them. No offense to anyone here that owned or owns a 3rd or 4th gen, but those cars NEVER appealed to me. IMO after the 2nd gen camaro they weren't worth owning until the 5th gen came out.

What I learned: It's original!! It's wicked awesome!! Now where is my degree?!! :D

The fun of driving a Camaro!! :headbang:

...heard the theme music...saw the dude..automatically thought special olympics. Love the body style of that generation.

What I learned is that an '87 IROC is a "very" rare car.........:drinking::sm0:

BowtieBelle 09-12-2011 09:55 AM

Bwahahaha wow... I had an '87 IROC at one point (bought it for my fiancee) and that thing was a piece. Between the leaky t-tops, the rattles and stuff CONSTANTLY going wrong, it was enough to pull your hair out... but it was sure sexy.
