What kind of paint markers for Camaro signatures?
1 Attachment(s)
I have asked this question in a couple of places & if I got a response, did not see it (some of the threads move so fast it is hard to find answers). Being a crafter I have aome things on hand but doubt they are the right kind. It is crunch time now. I want what is the best kind to have. It says they are good for metal, but is there something better?

Come on! 88 people looked and no one knows???????????

What is it exactly you are trying to do? Write the word Camaro yourself or color the factory letters? Trying to help...

Ruby, what I usually see is black and/or silver 'Sharpie' permanent markers. Scott usually carries both with him depending on the color of the car he is going to sign. I am bringing silver for my Crystal Red car. I hope this helps you.

i think its for the GM guys to sign the engine bay, right? I guess any sharpie would work. If you really want it to last you probably have to clear it once it's signed.

I understand now.

I just bought a couple of cheapie paint pens from Walmart. Probably clear it afterward to make sure it stays.

Sharpies, they don't scratch off. Best thing for signatures.

Sharpie has Paint pins that are the same size as regular pins so you get a cleaner sig.

Silver Sharpie.:D
 |
Ruby, Scott (FBod Father) carries a couple of different colored paint pens with him while he walks around. So you're covered. It's become a ritual that he's prepared for.

Just so you all know,a regular Sharpie is NOT permanent on the paint....WD-40 will take it off! :D
