well, to be fair, there are a lot more options out there for japanese cars.

Honda, Nissan, and Toyota all made top 10. with hyundai (south korean) is the best selling.

and i thought the smart cars were made by Mercedez? And porshe is not japanese. lol

The entire Suzuki lineup, with the exception of the Kizashi, look like they were designed and built in the 90s.

Isn't (or wasn't) Suzuki partially owned by GM and aren't (or weren't) Suzukis marketed/branded as Chevrolets in other parts of the world?

I'm not surprised that the 'smart' car isn't selling well.

I think GM owned at one point 20% of Suzuki...I thought that's about as far as it went.

To some extent. The XL7 was built alongside the last-gen Equinox and Pontiac Torrent.

Honda must be trying to cut back on sales with designs like the Element and the Crosstour :barf: :barf:

Well there's a leg up for Honda.

Funny how they say the RX-8 and Cayman don't sell because of the economy. Never mind the fact that GM, Ford and Chrysler have taken over the sports coupe market with the Camaro, Mustang, and Challenger, and that those cars don't offer anywhere near the performance.

For the price, the performance is not the reason anyone buys a porsche. It is a luxurious car, no doubt fun to drive, but if you are looking at the performance numbers they aren't there for the money. That, and the ugly factor are why Cayman sales are so poor. Why do YOU think Cayman's don't sell, if they are so great?
