White steering shaft and if you look under the trunk mat, there is a list of RPO codes and one of them will be 1LE.

You cannot id a 1LE by the vin number. Here is a vin breakdown for what each letter/number means.

No, you cannot identify a 1LE by the vin number alone.

Nope.

Codes in the trunk are the surefire way.

:confused0068:That's about $62k U.S. dollars. If anyone in Australia wants to buy mine for that I would be happy to sell it to them. I would even knock it down to $70k Australian dollars.

If I were living down under, don't think Camaro would me my choice. I'd prefer a 6m ss-v red line ute. Have been wanting one since before I got the GTO. Can say my 1Lehas a lot of Holden DNA. Holden built some great cars, sorry to see them gone & GM giving you some rebadged Buick. Sorry to hijack the thread

Lord yes, I'd love a ute here in the 'states.

Been starting to look for the next utilitarian, household hauling sort of vehicle. A Holden ute sold here would make that a stupidly easy decision.
