I thought it would be a closer race :/

Would an ZL1 stand a better chance than this?!

BRAVO 2SS 06-23-2013 12:24 AM

Interesting!

Evil-Bee-NH 06-23-2013 12:26 AM

think there's a huge weight difference. not to mention the ss seemed asleep at the wheel but that Nissan had sumthin else going on to just downright blow off the line like that. Maybe i'm wrong but Nitro possibly?

cvp33 06-23-2013 12:29 AM

13.68 1/4 mile? That SS doesn't have anywhere near 640hp, not even 400.

Camaro_hx 06-23-2013 12:45 AM

the SS seems more like a stock V6 with SS body.

I was thinking the same thing ?!?!

Bolt on V6 vs GTR is more like it

MikeSVX 06-23-2013 12:58 AM

1. That looked a lot long then a 1/4 mile.
2. That was a crappy surface to run in. See how much the SS is bouncing when it's running alone?
3. Launch difference explained by AWD vs. wheel spin

lexlueger 06-23-2013 06:53 AM

You can hear the supercharger on the SS. This is what happens from a dig vs an all wheel drive car. A ZL1 would be decimated. Could the SS been better prepared, Yes. Ditch the 21/22 inch rims for starters.

DarkneSS 06-23-2013 07:07 AM

Giant heavy wheels + its a vert + no driver mod = no surprise here. If the owner was that dumb it probably had no where near 600 hp.

SUKXOST 06-23-2013 07:12 AM

agreed

13.68 from a 640hp car. I call BS.

usafboy 06-23-2013 08:00 AM

At the end when it showed the winning times it stated GTR Cobb stage 2
