Corpus Christi,TX area Camaro owners

Is anyone in the Corpus Christi,TX area on here? If so do yall know of any Camaro clubs in the area or of any get togethers planned?

Hello

My wife and I are both members from Corpus. I believe there are two other members as well. I am not aware of any Camaro specific clubs in town but there are plenty of others that seem to welcome all types of cars. I'm in a black 2ss/rs with black rims. PM me and we'll see about getting together.

Id like to get a group of us together sometime. Maybe do a drive somewhere.
Id offer to do like a mod day at my house but I live on NAS Corpus Christi so that might be kind of hard.

Get together

I'm in the Bluff so if your on base we're close. We could do a BBQ or something like that at my place but it won't be till I get back from Argentina on July 3rd.
Oscar, you would be welcome as well as other Corpus area members. I do have a driveway/garage and tools as well.

Sounds good to me if we can get a few willing to. It would be nice to have some other Camaros to cruise with.

Hey guys,

:respekt:

I am from CCTX, but now live in So. Cal. My brother still lives there and I am trying to get him to buy a Camaro. If he does I will tell him about you guys so you can hang out. I only visit like once a year, but I always fly in cause it is over a 2,000 mile drive.

Anyway, good luck with getting a club together down there. There have to be more than a few peeps between Corpus, GP, Padre Island and around.

:drinking: to you all.

Im going home on 28Jun but will be back 5Jul. Anything after that I would be down for. Saturdays are best for me.

usnatclee 06-23-2012 12:00 AM

So anyone have any ideas on when and where to meet up?

usnatclee 06-23-2012 12:01 AM

Yall need to start waving back when I wave!

mp51998 06-23-2012 09:43 AM

I'm not in town so you're not waving at me. If someone waves I wave back. Good to see you're friendly like that. I gave up waving at Camaros because no one would wave back. I'm supposed to be back on the third. I see you'll be going away and you won't be back till the fifth.
The local chapter of the SCCA meets at Rudy's on SPID. They let us use a corner for our meetings. Also Panjo's pizza on Airline or Staples, can't remember which street, lets one of the 4WD clubs meet there. Never been there but the food must be okay if they are still open. Anyone also have any suggestions?
Speaking of SCCA we will be having an AutoX event on the weekend of the 7th and 8th. It's free to come watch if you have any interest. It is at Waldron Air Field on Waldron Rd in Flour Bluff. If you need directions short me a PM. Gates open at 8:30 and cars usually start running around 10-10:30. Come see what you cars can do. Its great fun and my wife and I are the only two Camaros so we could use some back up.
