Buzzing from stock exhaust after JBA mids
 

After about 1500 miles with my JBA mids I am getting a buzzing/rattling sound from my passenger side muffler. I am not blaming it on the JBA mids but I am going to have to swap them out before I take it to the dealer.... or get a new axle/cat back exhaust. Has anyone run into this problem?

i have JBA mids ... never had a single problem with them.... every time a JBA mids problem thread starts i always say this. : the shop that put my mids in said that JBAs were not the best fitting high flows cats.. they had to custom fit my exhaust to make them fix good...

I love these cats, I installed them in no time flat. I think they fit great, sound great and love the added power. I really dont belive the cats are at the root of my problem.... just thinking out loud .... could the added flow jarred an all ready loose weld in the muffler loose.... or maybe I got a faulty cat that broke apart and made its way back into the muffler. Again I dont think so... I just pulled the cats back off tonight and looked down with a flashlight and they look fine. I think I just got unlucky and got a bad muffler.

Yeah that was my first thought as well. Something touching and rattling. Going to put the stock cats back on tonight and going to dealer to see what they say. Looks like I am the only one with this issue. Thanks for the replies guys.

My stock mufflers rattled after about 5000 miles. Completely stock. Dealer replaced both mufflers under warranty.
