Attachment 329496To make a long story short my NEW 45TH Anniversary Camaro's Paint was destroyed in the blink of an eye. A jerk from a NY towing company was flat bedding some cars. I was driving next to him on the highway. One of the cars on the flat bed was facing in the opposite direction we were traveling. The trunk on that car opened and the force of the wind traveling at 60 MPH snapped the hinges on the trunk sending the trunk through the rear window of the junk car. The glass shattered all over my car. The total car needs to be repainted and other repairs need to be done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry about the car , but you are lucky. It could have done harm to you.

Just a risk you take when driving a car.
Sorry to hear it happened though but it'll look like new when done :)

That really sucks. That's a ton of damage from some glass.

dmwhiteman 01-30-2012 08:58 AM

Just feel lucky it was glass and not the trunk coming at YOUR windshield. Sorry about your car, but glad your okay!

That's unlucky, sorry about your car, but it could have been the whole car come off the truck. Did you get their # so they can pay?

jdcvictory11 01-30-2012 09:00 AM

That really sucks. Sorry it had to happen.

That's great. Now you get a REAL paintjob and your insurance pays for it. Not the fake paintjob the CAFE starndards require new cars to have. Make sure you get lots of clear coats.

Wouldnt surprise me if its totalled

Congrats on the new paint job

Why would the entire car need to be repainted. I cant imagine glass did that much, especially looking at the pictures where I cant see anything wrong
