2010 Camaro Interior trumped by 2010 Mustang?

http://www.autoblog.com/2009/01/14/d...-chevy-camaro/

According to Autoblog, it's true. WTF.

"We are big fans of the overall design and love the retro look, but were somewhat disappointed with the overall feel and quality of materials used inside -- the 2010 Mustang easily trumps the Camaro in terms of interior quality. "

:help:

If this is true, I'm not too happy about it. But I will still buy the car. But still!! i want my to be great inside!!

kanys 01-14-2009 01:26 PM

I love the interior because it is simple and practical. True it is nothing too flashy, but I much prefer that to chrome accents everywhere and such. I do love that ABL though:w00t:. We have been assured it is durable/not made of cheap materials, and that is all I needed to hear.

I will still buy it as well, but I can't imagine the Ford having a better interior. The only time I have seen Ford with a better interior is the F150 interior vs. the previous generation Silverado's.

I have not seen the Camaro in person, but I find this hard to believe.

So long for delaying the car to make it better.

This concerns me too..... :help: We need some reassurance here !!

I find it hard to believe as well...and I was in the damn thing. Methinks production materials still not used?? Or else....I haven't got a clue where this is coming from. :iono:

Opinions are like a.. h.... everyone has one. The person or persons are entitled to their opinion but doesn't mean it's true.

Its all about personal taste.

Well, if you were in it, and you know it rocks, that is a good start. Have you sat in a 2010 Mustang yet? I have only seen pictures of the interior. It looks nice, but I can't tell the quality from a picture.

CamaroSSforme 01-14-2009 01:36 PM

Here we ago again...someone on another site, albeit a popular site, states an opinion and we get people crying here.

If it weren't for the inside info and a few sane people I'd never visit this site.

It's an opinion folks...an opinion that might not be shared by all.

I like green...should I not buy the Maro because it doesn't come in green?

zebra 01-14-2009 01:38 PM

i tried to set a couple comments straight, but it won't add my post... lame!

TomServo 01-14-2009 01:39 PM

I wouldn't be concerned over a single early review. We have been repeatedly reassured that the Camaro will be world class and second to no one considering it'll be last to the dance.

I look forward not having to defend my purchase with lame tag lines like "yea, but it has 426HP" etc etc.

Beau Tie 01-14-2009 01:43 PM

Well you guys are doing a great job reassuring me. Thanks guys!

I just read that and FREAKED out is all.

Vash 01-14-2009 01:47 PM

Don't worry about it. Opinions are like *** ***** everyone (including myself) has one.

Who cares the car look like excrement, speaking of ****. Ford still puts the brake lever where it was in a Pinto, touching your leg if tall. Idiots.....

The car looks old and boring... Chix won't dig it at all compared to Cam5.
