Inferno orange interior not available with victory red exterior?
 

So I emailed my dealer asking to drop the black interior for the inferno orange interior with my 2SS victory red camaro, and they tell me that i have to pick a different color beside victory red in order for me switch interiors. What's the deal with that? Can anyone help me out?

Orange and red usually don't go well together. That's my guess.

Your dealer probably didn't want to order that combination in case you back out on the deal. He'd had have find someone else to buy it and it certainly won't be as easy to sell as VR with a black interior.

Having said that, unless something has changed, there is no reason that the system won't let him order it:

The IOM interior isn't available with the 1SS, but is with the 2SS. Are you sure they ordered the correct model for you?

And BTW, where is Blur today? He should be having a field day with all these dealers. ;)

Well, everyone has said that the IOM looks pretty red, but I ordered the VR and thought the IOM interior might be a little much. JMO though. You get what you want and think will look good.

I saw a SSR on my dealers showroom floor last week. It was black with what I thought had an black/orange interior. It sure looked orange to me but the dealer checked and confirmed it was a RED option trimmed interior. As noted above the colors must be close as this interior sure looked ORANGE. It will be nice when we can see all these interior and exterior colors in person when they start arriving at the dealers.

im ordering the iom package with my victory red 2ss, but will be repainting in my paint booth to match the victory red exterior.
